Meet Our Team of Officers

Leroy Clarke

BSc, BEd, MPhil (Pharmacol) PhD, OCT

Dr Leroy Clarke is President and Executive Director of e-CAMP MENTORing and cofounder of the Intergenerational Hub, focusing on mentoring, training, and coaching from an intergenerational perspective. An educator by profession, he holds a doctorate in Science and Technology Education from the University of Toronto. He is a dedicated family and community leader, mentoring and STEM consultant, as well as a strategic and curriculum advisor.

Dr. Clarke has received numerous awards and honors, including the 2024 Madiba (Mandela) Award, the 2022 Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Award, and the 2016 Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA) Distinguished Men of Honour. He serves on several boards and committees, such as the Science and Technology Awareness Network (STAN), and was recently appointed to the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) PromoScience Selection Committee for a three-year term beginning September 2024.

Michael Seidel

BComm, CA, CMA

Michael is Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of e-CAMP MENTORing. As a chartered accountant (CA) and chartered management accountant (CMA), Michael has focused his career on helping companies better use Information Technology tools in running their business and improving productivity within their finance departments.

Sonia Clarke

Cert. French Language, Cert. PSW

Sonia is Secretary of the Board of Directors as well as Office Manager of e-CAMP MENTORing. She attended the Henley School of Business, UK as well as Durham College, Oshawa, ON, where she obtained a certificate in French Language.

Sonia Clarke

Cert. French Language, Cert. PSW

Sonia is Secretary to the Board of Directors as well as Office Manager of e-CAMP MENTORing. She attended Henley School of Business, UK as well as Durham College, Oshawa, ON, where she obtained a certificate in French Language.  She is currently pursuing a Hons Degree in Health Studies (BHS), Faculty of Health, York University (Keele Campus).

York University Department of English, within the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS) recognized a number of students with awards for their exceptional contributions to the field of creative writing. Sonia Clarke was the 2023 First Year winner for her outstanding piece, “Against All Odds”. In 2024, she was also the Lorna Marsden Prize for Creative Writing in French. Sonia continues to write, dabbles in poetry, and encourages others to use the pen to express their thoughts and feelings.
